The raised itchy patches on skin little white farmhouse

Hi guys, hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving filled with good food, friends and and family. I took a much needed break this weekend and spent time living in the moment. Besides the holiday we had a date day on Friday, I did a small shop Saturday tour and on Sunday we have our annual Friendsgiving. So it was definitely eventful and so fun. But I’m back on the grind today and ready to hustle. Today I’m sharing something that we’ve been dreaming about for so long and totally changed the look of our kitchen. It’s these appliances from Samsung. I’ve wanted a white set since we moved into our home but couldn’t justify getting any when ours worked perfectly well. But once the dishwasher started to go I knew just what I wanted and working with them was seriously a dream come true. They have such a great selection to go with any style of kitchen. Whether your looking for a simpler style or a more high tech appliance they have something for everyone. If you remember we had a black set and these white beauties seriously made this space and brightened it up so much. Plus I love how it looks with my holly jolly touches. It will also be so perfect to cook our holiday dishes!! The fridge has so much room for larger platters and with the five burner stove top and roomy oven, Christmas cooking is going to be a breeze. So if your on the hunt of new kitchen appliances, electronics and so much more make sure to check out Samsung for yourself.

Okay, I did something a couple weeks ago. I gave you guys a little sneak peak in stories and I couldn’t wait to share more. I had the most amazing facial from Rosie over at Dawn Pizzaz in Litchfield Connecticut. Also known as DPZ, I can’t say enough good things about them. From the gorgeous reclaimed wood reception desk to the cozy roaring fireplace, you instantly feel relaxed. And don’t even get me started on their hot cocoa bar! Plus the facial was absolutely amazing and has done wonders for my skin.

She started by cleaning my skin with essential cleansing oil. This product is a powerful blend of skin-healthy oils that provides a deep cleanse by dissolving excess oils, impurities and makeup. Then she used a gentle makeup remover. She followed up by applying a purifying gel cleanser to rinse away surface debris and impurities. Then she exfoliated my skin with Pro 5 Exfoliant. This is good for all skin types and is perfect for a first time peel. There is no downtime and creates clearer, invigorating and glowing skin! Next, we toned. Before the mask she applied a variety of serums to address specific concern I had. The mask she used was a soothing gel mask. It hydrates and tones while reducing the appearance of puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles. Last but not least we did a high frequency treatment that uses a safe electrical current. It is appropriate for all skin types and most conditions. It has been known to increase collegean, enhance blood circulation, increase elastin, eliminate toxins, encourage lymphatic drainage exfoliate dead skin cells eliminate acne-causing bacteria and improve the absorption of skin care products. By the way she used the brand Glow for all products which I loved. And I can’t even explain how smooth my skin has been since! And the crazy hormonal acne that I’ve had on my chin and t-zone since I was a teen is clearing up too!!

Between their stunning salon and my relaxing facial I would absolutely recommend them over and over, especially if you live in the area. They have so many perks for their clients like an amazing collection of hair and skincare products for sale. They also offer wine, hot cocoa and water while enjoying any service! And now they have a Christmas raffle going on where you can enter to win one of three amazing gift baskets! Plus their referral program is out of this world! For every person you get to come into the salon they will receive $20 off their service and you will receive $20 in your account! Seriously it’s sooo cool! So make sure you let them know I sent you when you make your appointment. Head over to their site to check out their services and take some time to treat yourself. There’s just something about Christmas that makes everything more magical. Between the glow of the lights on the tree, the festive pops of color and the fresh smell of pine it always gives me all the feels. Which is why I love fresh garland around our home for the season. And this one from Lynch Creek Farm is seriously so amazing. The mix of pine and cypress is so unique and it inspired me to create a fun holiday tablescape that I can’t get enough of! If you’ve been following along than you know I don’t share many of these and this is absolutely my most elaborate one yet. I stuck these cutie vintage register tags throughout the garland to add a fun touch and styled some brass candlesticks alongside to add that cozy winter vibe. For the setting I layered my favorite ironstone plates with some vintage napkins and some gingerbread houses that I actually made! Okay, it was a no bake recipe where I simply put them together and decorated them (and I even did that wrong haha). But they add such a cute look! And I finished with some amazing red goblets a pair of thrifted holly leaf mugs. And wallah, a cute and simple Christmas tablescape ready to go just in time for December. The best part is the garland was so long I was able to cut enough to use here and hung the rest on our porch around the door. I’m absolutely obsessed and will be sharing that soon so keep an eye out. But in the meantime make sure to head over and check out Lynch Creek Farm for more amazing garlands, centerpieces, wreaths and so much more. First off I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the sweet words and shares of our bedroom shelves. I really got into the Christmas spirit and was inspired to change them completely. Especially when I got this happy mail from The Heirloom Shoppe. I was going for a simpler look until I got this stunning red book set. It sparked the idea to mix them when some of my favorite green books and to add a lot more red pops and winter touches. And I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The best part is the story behind these books are just so sweet. The owner told me all of the sets belonged to her mother who loved to read and had an amazing collection. When she passed she was happy to give them a second life and I’m seriously honored to have them be a part of our home. She has so many more sets where that comes from as well as all the vintage goodies like grain sack pillows, ironstone pieces, architectural salvage and so much more. Plus their Christmas collection it to die for. I’m swooning over all the the antique Santa’s, curated little Christmas decorations, stockings, ornaments and the list goes on. I already have a wish list going to make sure to head over before I snag it all for myself. Happy shopping.
